2years, three month old FURgie

We bought a house in Rockville, MD. FURgie loves running up and down the stairs and now the deck, but just lazing around on it. She cries to go out to enjoy the scents, sounds and sun. Still toting a Nikon D40 but with the 18-200 Nikon VR lens and this picture of FURgie the cat enjoying the outdoors was snapped with that camera-lens combo. Maybe she likes tomato and pepper plants or...pot(s)! We are happy that FURgie is happy. From homeless, abandoned kitten to 2 years, 3 months old cat with her own deck with an attached house. There is also a squirrel that taunts her by coming to a window that faces the deck behind which FURgie is planted to stare outside. It comes right up to her face and she concentrates so goes nuts. I hope she doesn't find out that there is a bunny living under our sunroom!

FURgie update

I haven't had the time to update FURgie's blog for a while now, but here is a more recent photo of FURgie (cell phone photo, not D40).....sleeping. She now lives in the Washington DC area in a bigger apartment and has her own bedroom and bathroom. What a little princess!

FURgie the fox

FURgie frequently looks like other animals. This day she resembled a fox...a sleeping fox who heard the shutter of my D40. So she woke up and kept an eye on me.
